If I go to the 8.5 console, type 'quit', when I saw the 'server shut down complete', mean the server is stopped? but I still can see 'nsd' 'nserver' stay in my Task manager...

and when I go to restart my windows 2008,when it show me 'updating user profile...' it wait for over 5mins, so I need to press the power button to Force it down...
